Different calcium applications effects on fruit quality of 0900 Ziraat (Prunus avium)

This study was carried out to determine the effects of pre-harvest calcium applications on fruit quality and cracking in "0900 Ziraat” cherry variety. For this purpose, “Codiagro Agroplant” containing 35% CaO (Calcium oxide); by foliar spraying; It has been applied trees different such as dripping from soil leaf + spraying. In study, weight (g), width (mm), length height (suture) seed amount water-soluble dry matter (TSS; %), pH acidity ( %) values, firmness were investigated. addition, skin flesh color stem values determined. The highest results obtained terms (8,91 g; 8,80 g) application made only with leaves soil. Likewise, leaves, is 26,73 mm; 26,61 mm, 24,35 mm had values. effect TSS %, SSCM found be statistically insignificant. hardest fruits foliar+soil (5,15 N). least cracked are leaf+soil (cracking index; 7,10). Calcium can recommended for higher cherries.
